Calling all innovative and career-minded Executive Assistants of Sydney… We are working with an impressive, extremely high-performing Sales Director who requires a true ‘right hand’ to support the continued expansion of their business.
  
This role will be full-on, but that is exactly what you’re looking for! You do your best work when running in tandem at 100kmph with your boss to support them hit and exceed challenging deliverables.
  
Based in North Sydney, this scale-up tech business has been making its mark in the industry for the last 3 years. Despite being fairly young, the business is backed and operated by seasoned professionals who are the very best in their field. They came together as a collective to become the powerhouse of their industry.
  
The Sales Director has a history of notable wins under their belt, and there will never be enough hours in the day (in their eyes) to continue boosting this trajectory of success.

Having known this Director for a number of years, we understand that their expectations are very, very high. Which isn’t surprising, given that if you’re someone who is uber-successful, mediocre just doesn’t cut it. That being said, we know that there is an extremely rewarding, and purposeful long-term relationship to be formed for the right person.  
  
This role will see you work in a team that will give you the capabilities and tools to fulfil your potential.
  
The expectations…

  • Oversee the complete structure of the Sales Director’s day to day, ensuring everything is running in the most efficient way possible 
  • Establish strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, be the first point of contact and consummate extension of the Sales Director
  • High level written communication support, covering email management, business correspondence, various reports and documentation
  • Be present in weekly/monthly internal meetings to capture goals and create actions/agendas/timelines for projects
  • Use the Microsoft ecosystem daily, advanced skills needed to support various points of a sales process – PowerPoint presentations, document creation etc
  • Work in conjunction with other senior leaders to ensure deadlines are adhered to
  • Have confidence in your decision-making ability, you are commercially astute to ascertain the best use of your Director’s day
  • Safeguard the Director’s time, become the filter for the wider team and work collaboratively with them to solve problems without involving the Director
  • Partner with other EAs to work collaboratively on business projects
  • Organising travel when required and managing expenses

You are driven by a sense of purpose and possess the motivation to create outcomes in high pressure environments. The role requires maturity coupled with a modern, innovative mindset. Given the nature of the business, you come equipped with an impressive range of tech skills (advanced on MS) and ideally have experience in another tech business to understand the matrix of operations.
