  • Lead the ecommerce function within a market-leading brand
  • Join a team of ambitious operators and develop your career
  • $120k – $140k plus super | South city fringe with parking

Are you a tech-focused Ecommerce Manager with a track record of delivering untouchable UX? Do you have demonstrated website project management experience that will add value to a continually growing business? If you’re the type of person who has a natural drive/ambition, paired with an entrepreneurial flair, this could be the environment you’ve been looking for.

Based south of the city, this brand has established itself as an ecommerce market leader in their industry – trust us when we say their competitors are more than just a few steps behind.

The business (which is backed by an extremely impressive SLT) is constantly expanding its offering and pushing boundaries to maximise its reach and visibility. This isn’t a space where you play it safe, and employees are encouraged to voice ideas along with innovative suggestions.

The role…

With the company regularly hitting impressive milestones, the time has now come to hire an Ecommerce Manager to own and advance the bread and butter of the business – the website.

Given the nature of this scale-up, the course of your days will vary depending on certain business projects and the sales/marketing calendar. However, you can expect to lead some core functions…

  • Manage and own the company website – constantly test and evaluate UX and performance
  • Work alongside third-party developers to project manage business initiatives – new website functions, apps etc
  • Build out new product pages and work cross-functionally with teams to ensure images and copywriting are correct – this will be a huge part of the role as in 2025 the offering is set to grow immensely
  • Implement SEO strategies and tagging of products
  • Be a nerd with data – continually analyse CRO and assess what customers are doing/how they shop
  • Drive key trading times such as Black Friday, warehouse sales and other promotions

What we need from you…

You embed yourself ‘in the detail’ and come equipped with an impressive tech stack that will enable you to run this function single handedly…

  • Shopify / Shopify plus
  • Monday.com / Asana / other project management tools
  • An understanding of GitHub (we don’t require a developer, but some exposure to the platform would advantageous)
  • Magenta

Given the nature of the work, you can’t fake the experience. We’re seeking a specialised operator who can deliver measurable business outcomes.

As this is a senior appointment within the business, it’s crucial you are someone who values collaboration and understands the importance of integrating with the wider team. Projects and ideas move swiftly and without the barriers of red tape. This type of operation excites you and you relish when given the opportunity to influence decisions.

Previous experience within a scale-up/ecommerce business is essential for you to add value from day one. Whilst there is support from an incredible team, those who have the confidence and capability to run independently and drive outcomes will develop best in this environment.
